Effective against most mites and parasites, Pestene powder is a no-fuss solution to protecting your pet.

Pestene combats lice, mites and fleas in one easy step. Simply add a portion of the powder to your pet’s environment and bedding and sprinkle some liberally through their coat or feathers. Where possible, massage the powder into their skin.

Pestene can be used in poultry, dogs, cats, horses, calves and goats.

Directions

Inca Pestene Powder is a topical powder used to control lice, mites, and fleas on dogs, cats, poultry, horses, calves, and goats. It should be applied weekly by liberally sprinkling and massaging it directly into the coat or feathers, ensuring it reaches the skin, while also treating bedding and nesting areas.
 
Key Directions and Application
 
  • Method: Sprinkle powder liberally through the coat or feathers, massaging it down to the skin.
  • Frequency: Apply weekly or as needed for heavy infestations.
  • Poultry: Apply to feathers, concentrating on the vent area, under wings, around the neck, and breast.
  • Dogs & Cats: Apply to the coat, particularly around the neck, chest, and back, then brush through.
  • Environment: Sprinkle on bedding, kennels, and nesting boxes to prevent re-infestation.
  • Excess Product: Remove any excess powder from pets with a damp cloth.

Restrictions and Safety
 
  • Do not use on puppies or kittens under 3 months of age.
  • Do not use on lactating goats if the milk is intended for human consumption.
  • Do not use for sarcoptic or demodectic mange. 

Withholding Periods
 
  • Poultry (Meat): 1 day.
  • Eggs: Nil.
  • Calves/Goats (Meat): 1 day.
  • Horses (Meat): 28 days.
