Hello. My name is Kirsten. I am the owner and creator of Purple Tree Pets.
I’ve always had a strong interest and passion for animal care. Nothing makes me happier than being able to help animals in need.
I have volunteered at various animal and wildlife organisations including Wildlife Rescue South Coast, Wirrimbirra Wildlife Sanctuary, Symbio Zoo and local veterinary clinics.
I have a lot of experience caring for a menagerie of pets, including dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I have been raising and caring for poultry for over 15 years.
I have recently completed my studies in becoming a qualified veterinary nurse. I am currently undertaking further studies in alternative therapies for pets.
In the past I worked as a graphic designer. This inspired me to combine both my creative and animal care interests into one business.
